Your brand is being discussed in AI answers right now

Every day, buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews who to trust in your category. The answers shape shortlists before a buyer visits your website, reads a press hit, or clicks an ad.

Media monitoring, social listening, and web analytics don’t capture any of this. They were built for a different era. None of them tell you whether AI is mentioning your brand, how it’s describing you, whether it’s recommending you — or leaving you out entirely.

Three dimensions of AI presence

aimprint™ measures brand presence in AI-generated answers across three pillars. Each answers a distinct question. Together they produce a single composite aimprint™ Score.

Reach
Are you appearing in the answers that matter?
How often your brand shows up across the AI prompts most relevant to your category — the foundation of any AI presence.
Mention Rate Answer Share of Voice Citation Share
Influence
Are you being recommended — or just mentioned?
Appearing in an answer is not the same as earning the primary recommendation. Influence measures how often your brand gets the call.
Recommendation Rate Competitive Win Rate
Narrative
Is AI telling your story accurately?
What story is AI constructing? Narrative measures whether AI responses are amplifying your intended positioning — or distorting it.

What your AI presence actually looks like

The aimprint™ Score is the top line. What sits underneath it is what makes the measurement actionable.

Each square is a prompt in your set, grouped by intent theme and colored by outcome. Patterns by theme reveal where you’re winning outright, where you’re merely present, and where the gaps concentrate.

When multiple brands appear in the same AI response, aimprint identifies who earns the primary recommendation — not just who showed up.

Presence by buyer intent. aimprint breaks results down by intent theme — discovery, comparison, and recommendation prompts tell different stories. A brand with strong awareness presence may have weak conversion-stage presence, and vice versa.

Tracked where your buyers are asking

aimprint™ queries your brand across the AI engines your buyers are actually using, and scores each engine’s response independently. Engine coverage is configurable — you can weight platforms to reflect where your audience actually lives.

Visibility Gap Analysis

Not just a score — a map. aimprint identifies the specific prompts where your brand is absent, so you know exactly where to focus rather than chasing a vague aggregate signal.

Competitive Winner Analysis

Share of voice tells you if you appeared. Winner analysis tells you who earned the recommendation. A brand can appear in every competitive answer and still be losing if a rival wins the endorsement.

Fully Customizable

Prompt sets, intent themes, engine weights, pillar weights, and scoring bands are all calibrated to your brand. aimprint is not a one-size-fits-all scorecard — it is configured to your brand before scoring begins.

Transparent & Auditable

Every score includes a full validation export — raw engine responses, computed KPIs, and configuration captured at run time. You can drill from composite to pillar to the row of source data that contributed to it.

Self-Directed or Fully Supported

Every plan includes full dashboard access — composite score, pillar drill-down, engine and prompt-level detail, explored at your own pace. Managed adds a practitioner analysis layer on top: a written narrative review, strategic recommendations, and expert context delivered each cycle. Choose the level of support that fits your team, not a one-size-fits-all bundle.

How an aimprint™ engagement works

Every aimprint™ plan includes direct access to an interactive dashboard — full scores, pillar drill-downs, engine filters, and prompt-level detail, explored at your own pace. Managed plans add a practitioner analysis layer on top: monthly reports, narrative review, and strategic recommendations from an analyst who knows the data. See plans and pricing.

1

Onboard

A configuration workshop establishes the measurement foundation: your prompt set and intent themes (you review and approve the final list before anything runs), engine weights calibrated to where your audience actually asks questions, and scoring bands tuned to your category and company size.

2

Baseline

The first full measurement run produces your starting aimprint™ Score across all three pillars. It establishes the competitive benchmark you’ll track against — and often surfaces the most actionable immediate gaps before any optimization work begins.

3

Ongoing Cadence

Your dashboard refreshes on a regular cadence for as long as you’re a customer — self-directed teams explore it on their own schedule. Managed plans add a monthly (or accelerated) analyst review cycle on top of the same refreshed data.

Frequently asked questions

What does aimprint™ actually measure?

aimprint measures how your brand appears — and how it is characterized — inside AI-generated responses across major AI engines. It tracks three dimensions: Reach (how often your brand appears across relevant prompts), Influence (how often your brand is recommended rather than merely mentioned), and Narrative alignment (how accurately and favorably AI characterizes your brand relative to your intended positioning).

The seven underlying KPIs are: Mention Rate, Answer Share of Voice, and Citation Share (Reach); Recommendation Rate and Competitive Win Rate (Influence); and Answer Sentiment and Narrative Alignment (Narrative). Each is scored individually, aggregated into its pillar score, and then into the composite 0–100 aimprint™ Score.

Which AI engines does aimprint cover?

aimprint currently supports up to six engines depending on plan — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode. Coverage is configurable — you can weight engines based on where your audience actually asks questions. The scoring architecture is built to absorb new engines without disrupting historical comparability.

Which countries and languages does aimprint measure?

Today, every measurement is taken from the United States in English. Results in other markets or languages may differ.

How is this different from share of voice or SEO tracking?

Traditional share of voice measures brand mentions in earned media or social conversation. SEO tracking measures rankings and click-through in search results. Neither captures what happens inside AI-generated answers — a fundamentally different medium that does not follow ranking algorithms, does not link to your site, and does not appear in your analytics. aimprint was built specifically to measure that output.

Is aimprint a tool or a service?

Both, depending on your plan. Every plan includes direct access to an interactive dashboard where you can explore scores at any level of detail — composite aimprint™ Score down through pillar scores, individual KPIs, engine-by-engine breakdowns, and all the way to the prompt level. It’s built for self-directed exploration on your own schedule.

Managed plans add a practitioner analysis layer on top. Each cycle includes a written narrative review, strategic recommendations, and context that the numbers alone don’t provide — an expert read on what moved, why it matters, and where to focus next. The standard cadence is monthly, with accelerated options available for teams that need faster feedback loops.

Think of Self-Directed as the platform, and Managed as the platform and an analyst who knows how to use it.

How are prompts chosen?

Prompt development is a collaborative onboarding process. We start with your category, competitive landscape, and audience, then build a prompt set across intent themes — discovery, comparison, feature evaluation, recommendation, and more — that reflects how real buyers ask questions in your space. You review and approve the final set before measurement begins, and it can be refined over time.

What does the output look like?

Every plan’s dashboard includes: a composite aimprint™ Score with pillar-level drill-down; a prompt-level presence map organized by intent theme; competitive winner analysis identifying who earns the primary recommendation when multiple brands are cited; and a full validation export.

Managed plans add a narrative review of how AI engines characterize your brand, plus reports delivered in executive summary and detailed analyst formats.

How does aimprint™ relate to REPP Score™?

aimprint™ is a standalone AI presence measurement product. REPP Score™ is Aperture Insights’ integrated brand measurement framework covering earned media, social, performance, and persistence alongside AI visibility. The two are complementary — aimprint can run independently or as the AI visibility layer within a broader REPP Score implementation.
